Overview and History of Fiesta San Antonio
Fiesta San Antonio is one of America’s greatest festivals. It began in 1891 as a single parade and has grown to consist of over 100 events in an 11 day period. Fiesta was started as a way to celebrate the honor and memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Fiesta San Antonio also celebrates the city’s diversity and rich culture. This year Fiesta San Antonio events run from April 18-28.
